This month’s question to you
This is more of a challenge then a question. Lets mix it up and learn something new unless you have already done that, then you are ahead of the game. Make something quilted in a new way. For example, if you normally do traditional quilts, try modern. If you normally do modern try paper piecing. If you have never tried applique go ahead, never made a jacket or purse/bag lets have some fun. Big or small even if you are not sure you will ever attempt it again CQA would love to see how many of you are trying something new. Please send CQA a picture to post in next months newsletter. If you already have tried something like this and then please send those pictures and tell CQA how much fun you have had! Due to health and safety concerns surrounding the global pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person Quilt Canada 2021 in Toronto. We are currently looking into an alternative virtual event for 2021. We will keep you up to date, through
e-newsletters, our website and social media, as our plans develop. Keep on quilting and stay safe.
Carole McCarville, CQA/ACC Executive Director
Please check out the CQA web site and see what CQA has to offer and if you’re not a member please consider joining. Being part of a nation wide quilting guild brings together our country’s quilters from sea to sea to sea and in these uncertain times supporting CQA is more important than ever.
Glenda Bilinsky WQG CQA Rep.
