Learn how to create the look of heirloom cutwork by machine in a fraction of
the normal time. There are four options to choose from: 
*Lacy Snowflake,
*Glittery Snowflake,
*Snowflake Quilt Block
*Stained Glass Snowflake.

                                 Woven Ribbon Star or Hopscotch Quiltworx with Julie Faulkner

                                                October 22, 2026 (Thursday)  COTA  12:00-4:00   $20 + $22 for the pattern

 

                                     This is a four- hour workshop where Julie will introduce you to the technique of paper piecing. 

                                     Both patterns have only one block to piece.

                                                                              - Woven Ribbon Star is 30X30

Twister Table Runner with Cathy Newman
October 31, 2026 (Saturday) 9:30 - 2:30 at COTA        Cost $25



 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Make an easy pinwheel table runner using the Twister quilting ruler and 5” squares. 
There will be extra rulers at the workshop, so if you don’t have one, no problem. 
This opens the door to doing a quilt using 10” squares and using the larger ruler. 
 
 
 
 

Introduction to Free-Motion Quilting with Julie Plotniko
November 27, 2026 (Friday) 9:30-2:30 at COTA            Cost $50

A great class if you would like to try free-motion quilting.  The class includes correct body positioning, machine tension, correct needle, thread and design combinations.  You will create samplers of loops, spirals, stars, flowers, stippling and hearts with a focus on stitch length, tension and comfort with stitching in all directions.
