Workshops, Trips & Retreats

Workshops generally are scheduled about once a month.  Mini Workshops take place in the Spring and Fall with two small workshops each in the morning and afternoon with a potluck lunch.  We celebrate National Quilt Day in March with a potluck luncheon and workshop day.  Monthly workshops include lunch and are normally scheduled from 9:30 AM until 3 PM unless otherwise advised.

Our Guild has three annual retreats.  They are day time retreats where you quilt all day and sleep in your own bed at night.  The retreats take place at COTA.

The Guild also does trips from time to time.  Perhaps a day trip to Vancouver for shopping, or a not quite local quilt show,  or a group going to a National quilt show in the USA.

WQG will be holding THREE retreats in 2023.  The first will be held at COTA from Wed. Feb. 1st until Sat. Feb. 4th.  Sign up was Dec. 4th and the retreat is FULL with a waiting list at this time.  For further retreat info, please contact Pat. B. at
