Workshops generally are scheduled about once a month. Mini Workshops take place in the Spring and Fall with two small workshops each in the morning and afternoon with a potluck lunch. We celebrate National Quilt Day in March with a potluck luncheon and workshop day. Monthly workshops include lunch and are normally scheduled from 9:30 AM until 3 PM unless otherwise advised.
Our Guild has three annual retreats. Two are day time retreats (where you go home to your own bed at night but have 3 or more glorious days of quilting with friends) and once a year we go on a 4 day retreat, usually to Camp Pringle at Shawnigan Lake.
The Guild also does trips from time to time. Perhaps a day trip to Vancouver for shopping, or a not quite local quilt show, or a group going to a National quilt show in the USA.
